Educational

  • Specialized assessments for academic/learning difficulties and special needs within the classroom and on tests.

  • Expertise in evaluating children with learning disorders (e.g., dyslexia), or for whom attentional or behavioral challenges make learning difficult.

  • Dr. Palumbo conducts independent psychoeducational evaluations, accommodation assessments for standardized exams (e.g., ACT, SAT, GRE), and consultation for IEP meetings.

Neuropsychological/

  • Offering neuropsychological testing (e.g., IQ/intellectual functioning, attention, executive functioning, learning/memory, language).

  • Dr. Palumbo has experience working with youth struggling with questions about their identity (e.g., gender, sexuality, immigration or acculturation status), family issues (e.g., adoption, divorce), and trauma.
